People can be Wonderful

I work with Dress A Girl Around the World (my other blog dedicated to it is http://sewdelightful.blogspot.com) and recently I contacted another blog (craftgossip.com) to share with them about our project... making simple versatile dresses for girls in need.  They shared about our project and people, wonderful, giving people have responded.  People want to sew, people want to donated and people truly care!!  That is such an encouragement to me; especially when you read the news today.  Thank you to all of you out there that care whether it is about this cause or any other wonderful giving cause!!!

On that blog I am sharing about Dress A Girl Around the World.  A program that makes dresses out of pillowcases and shares them with girls around the world.  We have delivered dresses to 34 countries.  I recently became the Washington Sate Rep for this organization and love sharing about this project!!  Here are some of the dresses that I have made...

We made a last minute trip up to the tulip fields of Skagit Valley... the colors were amazing... the day was beautiful... and now I have tulips as my computer background.  Such a happy screen to wake up to!!!
